Ok... but we are getting to the point where we will never release. I mean I totally agree with you that this is not acceptable but I think we need to keep a few things in mind.
The first being that 1.7.1 will be coming out quite soon after 1.7.0 is released. At some point we will need to cut our losses with 1.7.0 and just accept the fact that it will have issues. The second being that we might need to draw the line at bugs that completely stop things from working.
