Invalid namespace URI cause an java.net.URISyntaxException from uDig

When i try getCapabilities WFS from uDig i get this message "Connection
Parameter are invalid".
This happens when some namespace is invalid. For example : "http:\\".
the uDig log: java.net.URISyntaxException: Illegal character in opaque part at
index 5: http:\\
I think that must be checked when i submit the namespace from UI.
