Hi,
sorry for being late, here is the roadmap update for
this week.

* 2.0-RC2

This week has seen significant update on the doc side
of the fence. We have 1 blocking and 2 critical issues
on jira:
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-3357
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-3340
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-3348

(ok, the blocking one is a one liner, will fix it
  quickly).

The release date scheduled for RC2 is Sept 14.
I hear Chris would like to release it sooner.
A couple of things make me wonder:
- what's the status of the coverage handling
   forward ports? There has been significant
   changes (bug fixes, improvements) to 1.7.x that
   were not ported over to trunk in both GT2
   and GS. Any update on those? We need them
   before we release another RC, otherwise
   we're releasing stuff with known regressions
   compared to 1.7.x (this probably slipped
   thru the cracks during the RC1 release process)
- anything that needs doing on the app-schema
   side of the fence?

* 1.7.7

No updates on this one I guess. Jira contains
no critical issues, and shows 11 fixes occurred
so far in the branch

Comments, feedback appreciated

Cheers
Andrea
