Hi !

I currently get this problem : I insert a pyramid (tiff files) in my geoserver
and visualize it on my client.
Then, i remove the layers and the coveragestore and try to remove all the
pyramid files BUT some files are locked by Geoserver and can not be removed !
All the operations are done using the rest api and the files deletion is
managed by the java method file.close(), applied on each pyramid's file (trying
to use the windows explorer does the same thing).

I can't understand why Geoserver does not close the files streams after using
them...
I tried to import my pyramid in geoserver, create a layer, and then remove
everything without visualize the layer in my client... Doing that, everything
is working fine...
The only way I have to remove the files is to restart Tomcat and I can not do
that in a production environment !

So... If somebody gets an idea on how to solve this problem, it would be great !
Thanks !
Thomas
