I've got a 2.0-SNAPSHOT - apologies for not knowing more about the version.
When I put a content.ftl in data_dir/workspaces/myws/mystore/mylayer/, I see
the result getting rendered with GetFeatureInfo requests. If I try to put the
same template instead in data_dir/workspaces or at the root of data_dir, I get
the default template rendered for GetFeatureInfo responses.

refer to the old featureTypes directory. I'm guessing the same should apply
for the workspaces directory, but I am unable to get a generic template to be
used in GetFeatureInfo responses.
