WFS-1.1.0 GetFeature Response with content-length=0
----------------------------------------------------
Key: GEOS-4758
URL: https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-4758
Project: GeoServer
Issue Type: Bug
Components: ArcSDE
Affects Versions: 2.1.0
Environment: geoserver 2.1
Reporter: Rudi Hochmeister
Assignee: Andrea Aime
Attachments: geoserver.log
WFS 1.1.0 GET GetFeature Requests with invalid characters in feature's
properties are aborted and a response with
content-length=0 ist sent. See exceptions in geoserver.log
nok ...
http://vmdev042:8080/geoserver/wfs?service=WFS&request=GetFeature&version=1.1.0&typeName=ogdwien:VOLKSHOCHSCHULEOGD
When doing a WFS 1.0.0 GET GetFeature Request, a proper GML response is
delivered to the client ( of course,
then firefox complains because of an invalid, but he valid GML).
ok ...
http://vmdev042:8080/geoserver/wfs?service=WFS&request=GetFeature&version=1.0.0&typeName=ogdwien:VOLKSHOCHSCHULEOGD
Is this a valid behaviour? I guess, Geoserver should at least generate a
service exception when run with WFS-1.1.0!
