Minor correct to the text on the wiki - Andrea is "project officer" for
GeoServer :D
Other than that I would like to reword the text to be positive ("even though"
sounds like we have reservations).
BEFORE:
The GeoServer Project Steering Committee says, "The GeoServer team is thrilled
about OSGeo membership. Even though GeoServer has not been an official OSGeo
project until now, there have always been strong ties between the two
communities with several of the GeoServer developers being involved with OSGeo
as chapter members and active participants in various OSGeo conferences. As
such we are very happy to now officially be part of OSGeo and a member of such
an esteemed group of projects."
AFTER:
The project steering committee says, "The GeoServer team is thrilled to be
recognized as a full OSGEo project. There have been strong ties between the
two communities with several GeoServer developers being involved as charter
members, volunteering at the committee level and represented in local OSGeo
chapters. We are very happy to be an official part of OSGeo and a member of
such an esteemed group of projects."
