Jody,
you're talking about delays rather casually, and yet the time boxed release
procedures
were put in place to avoid delays to start with, the procedure we voted
says "a release
every 2 weeks until no more blockers are found", it does not say "in time
for FOSS4G at
all costs".
You should officially ask for a delay, and/or see if there is going to be
someone ready
to make 2.4.0 (or an RC3) Sept 18th (not everybody is going to be at
FOSS4G)
