The release schedule has 2.4.8 (the last release of the 2.4.x series) heading out on Monday. If you have any outstanding issues I should be waiting for please reply to this email.
I would like to build the release artifacts on Sunday in order to leave the build box available for Justin's release of master. Aside: Download stats do show a strong transition from maintenance <http://sourceforge.net/projects/geoserver/files/GeoServer/2.4.7/stats/timeline?dates=2014-04-09+to+2014-08-15> to stable <http://sourceforge.net/projects/geoserver/files/GeoServer/2.5.2/stats/timeline?dates=2014-04-09+to+2014-08-15> - I will try and make the release announcement with the tone "every one out of the pool". -- Jody Garnett
