Caching can be done in a local or a distributed environment. This work on GeoServer aims to add the possibility to configure dynamically in-memory caching from GUI. All the work is based on the ConfigurableBlobStore class, which is another implementation of the GWC BlobStore interface that supports dynamic changes of the BlobStore used by the GWC StorageBroker and, if it uses MemoryBlobStore, its caching behavior. I have modified the GWC related modules in order to support this new BlobStore and its dynamic behavior. Also I have modified the Caching Defaults page to provide run-time memory caching capabilities.
