Hi all,
since the feature freeze is over and the 2.7.0 version has been released, I
would ask if now is it possible to refresh the ML discussion about two
features:
1. Add support for GWC In memory caching for GeoServer. This feature
provides a new GWC BlobStore implementation which may be used for replacing
the default GWC FileSystem caching with an In Memory Caching mechanism. It
is also possible to use Hazelcast in order to have a distributed-in memory
cache.
2. GridCoverage caching community module which provides caching at
GridCoverage level and may be used for fast serving GridCoverages (for
example in WPS requests).

related pull request (I will fix the conflicts asap) may be found at the

This pull request will be refined since some changes has occurred (JAI-EXT
and so on). I would also point out that this module may also be used in
conjunction with the In Memory Caching feature in order to have a
distributed GridCoverage cache.
