Currently I'm quite unsure about this issue. Either GeoServer complies with
the 2.0.2 standard of WFS, which is the current leading standard. But than
there is a slight inconsistency about the version number.

On the other hand, fixing this issue for every FeatureType is, I think,
extremely difficult and would affect quite a lot of code.

That's why I'm curious about other opinions. Especially from Justin and
Andrea.

Kind regards,
Alex van den Hoogen

> Bug] Bug Affects Versions: 2.6.1 Assignee: Andrea Aime
> <https://jira.codehaus.org/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?name=aaime>
> Components: CITE, WFS Created: 18/Nov/14 2:57 AM Fix Versions:
> 2.7-beta Priority: [image: Minor] Minor Reporter: Alex van den

>
> According to the WFS 2.0.0 standard by the OGC, the ListStoredQueries
> request gives back an invalid response. This is caused by the fact that the
> ReturnFeatureType field is empty for the default query, which is:
> urn:ogc:def:query:OGC-WFS::GetFeatureById.
>
> Although this can be considered a bug, I also have to notice that there is
> an addition to the 2.0.0 version standard in the form of WFS 2.0.2 which
> permit the ReturnFeatureType field to be empty as a wildcard for
> FeatureType's.
