Hi all,
since we have already prepared the GeoTools proposal for JAI-EXT
integration (
http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/A-bit-of-a-mess-in-coverage-related-proposals-td5193301.html),
now we have also prepared the GeoServer counterpart proposal as GSIP.
To summarize, our aim is to integrate JAI-EXT into GeoTools and GeoServer
in order to replace the majority of the JAI operations with the JAI-EXT
ones. These new operations will add support for ROI and NoData on raster
processing.
