Hi List,
I'm trying to build GeoServer for the first time and have some problems
with it. I've installed Java SE 7 and latest maven (3.3.1). After running
"mvn clean install" in apropriate directory I've got error in "REST
Configuration Service Module" with following message:
Tests in error: testGetAsXML(org.geoserver.rest.FontListTest): Invalid byte
1 of 1-byte UTF-8 sequence.
Then I tried to run "mvn clean install -Dmaven.test.skip" to skip tests,
but another error has appeared in "WMS UI Module"
[ERROR] Failed to execute goal on project gs-web-wms: Could not resolve
dependen
cies for project org.geoserver.web:gs-web-wms:jar:2.8-SNAPSHOT: Failure to
find
org.geoserver.web:gs-web-core:jar:tests:2.8-SNAPSHOT in
http://repo.boundlessgeo
.com/main was cached in the local repository, resolution will not be
reattempted
until the update interval of boundless has elapsed or updates are forced
I'm not strong in java and just following "Quickstart guide" now. Could
someone give me some hint? I'm working on Windows 7 x64
