Sorry thought that was an implementation detail, rather than API. I had considered facade ( good for code examples and ease of use, but for parameter documentation as you indicated). param object does not help much as you may as well do your worker class. I had also considered something like the internals of your feature process implementations so saving to a zip could be put at the end of a process chain.
