Hi, I've been looking into why the CITE tests are not starting up yet (quite fed up of seeing all those build failures once a day) and I believe I've found the issue.
The run.sh now does the following: echo "jetty.http.port=11010" > ../start.ini This ends up setting up the wrong variable (it's called jetty.port) and wipes out all of the many other configurations in the start.ini file, see its full contents here: https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/blob/master/src/release/jetty/start.ini Replacing that line with this seems to do the trick: sed -i "s/jetty.port=8080/jetty.port=11010/g" ../start.ini Unfortunately I have no rights to modify that file and actually check it does the trick Cheers Andrea PS: how did I discover it? I noticed that the nightly build started fine on my system, so I created a local git repo in it, downloaded the run.sh file, and started playing by hand the commands modifying the jetty config by hand, committing at every change, until I've found the one that broke the startup... at that point a "git diff" showed the reason for the failed startup. -- == GeoServer Professional Services from the experts!
