I just want it to be easy to maintain and track…would also be nice not to
require sudo to make changes! Maybe we wait until the switch to the new CITE
engine?

Not sure... I mean, the entire thing also need a specific directory layout to
work, the script by itself is not enough.
Also, we are supposed to switch master to the new CITE engine... which will
require time, so we still need the
old system going, but I would not invest all that much time in the old one.
Anyways, I'm pretty open to all avenues, if you feel it's best to put it on
github, I'm game.
