Hi Jonathon
I think this would require substantial changes to the geoserver wicket
interface to get working. All of geoserver has been designed with a fixed
screen-width in mind, so changing this behvior would likely require changes
to core ui components and styling.
So I would say it is out of scope for now. It could be a good idea for
future work?
