I found an interesting behavior in the GeoServer REST API today. Details described here: here https://osgeo-org.atlassian.net/browse/GEOS-7852
While it does not impact functionality of core GeoServer, it could be construed as a violation of the CatalodFacade interface / api. Unless there was a good reason for this implementation, I think it should be fixed. PR here: https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/pull/1966 Opinions welcome.
