The windows exe was not generated; I am not quite sure why. I would like to
go ahead with a release announcement tomorrow (and we can always add the
exe when time permits).
General strategy for the blog, repeat of the beta blog with a note about
the label position point alignment change, and the flag to restore prior
behaviour. Anything else we want to highlight for RC1 testing?
