Whilst I can no longer find the page that recommends this; I'm pretty sure I
read somewhere that I should introduce myself if joining this particular
mailing list so here goes.
My name is Paul Wittle and I currently work for Dorset County Council in the
UK. I'm hoping to start learning how to do some basic development work for the
GeoServer project.
I was discussing some things with Ian Turton earlier in the week and he
suggested that I should join this mailing list so that is exactly what I have
done.
Anyway, I'll stop there as I'm not even sure if I'm still supposed to send the
introduction email but I hope to be able to help with the project at some point
soon once I've managed to work through the various training documents and
navigated through the build issues involved as a rare Windows user.
