Thanks for the release work. I downloaded the war and htmldocs, booted the war
on tomcat8:

Checked some capabilities, a few layer previews, logged in. Pretty light
testing, no extension modules, but all looks good from what I tested – nothing
objectionable in the logs.
Opened up the htmldocs, both developer and user look OK, have the right version
number.
