For my own thoughts … I like the idea, and could see running it just as a discussion forum. Ideally similar stack exchange where questions can stay answered.
I also like that there is a adtivepub feed for folks wishing to follow via mastodon. It will be a challenge to transfer from SF; but we can make the request to collect the mailman archive.
