Hi Jody, good point! The Marlin fix was backported to 2.25.x, but not to 2.24.x. It could be done with the 2.26.0 release and extended to 2.25.x I guess? There is nothing else Java 17 specific that needs to be done, and in case one has trouble, there are the JVM flags documented in the guide that can be added to work around it <https://docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/user/production/java.html#running-on-java-17> .
