I have nothing against the printing plugin - just that it needs some love

What would be the best way to support this thing? If it is only the
geoserver project using mapfish printv2 then the geoserver community should
come up with a plan ... so I was presenting some plans :P​

If you are making pull-requests then you have some technical capacity so
you are *exactly* who we want to make plans with....
