Hey Linden; we need a bit more information - I am guessing from the
non-abstract bindings that you are having some kind of schema trouble?

Looking in your log file the clue may be:

09 Aug 11:39:50 DEBUG [geoserver.wfs] - Unable to find user-defined
schema location for: http://dnr.nsw.gov.au/mer2008. Using a built
schema location by default:
http://wmt.dnr.nsw.gov.au:8180/geoserver2/wfs?service=WFS&version=1.1.0&request=DescribeFeatureType&typeName=mer2008%3AWQ_MER_2008_SITES
