OpenJUMP (http://openjump.org) can also save styles as SLD.

Currently broken in the latest release as returning to the style
overwrites the previous XML.

Only works for "Unique Styles" and actually throws an exception when
you try to save.

Also seems not to work with latest build - I've filed a JIRA on this one.

So looks like Vi and a steady hand are still the best plan.
