The easiest way to upgrade would be to remove or backup the
<INSTALLATION_ROOT>/webapps/geoserver. Then unzip the -latest-bin.zip and
copy the webapps/geoserver folder from there to the existing location.
Or you can simply unpack the new version anywhere on your system. And if you
want to use the data from the existing installation simply set the
GEOSERVER_DATA_DIR environment variable to point to it.
