I have yet to figure out a way to catch this error as it seems it is not a
common problem.  If anyone can pass me any tips on seeing Geoserver/PostGIS
communications, please drop a line ;).  Also I realize that I should have
named this question *PostGIS Layer Renders Only Sometimes*
