Hello Andrea,
I am puzzled with this too. Strange things happen on tomcat not stopping,
java processes running in the background and more strange things. Constantly
making geoserver fail to start.
The machine I run is a
- debian lenny/squeeze
- Sun java jdk 1.6.2
- tomcat6
- geoserver 2.1-RC1
- apache2
- proxypass in apache via ajp
The thing I would love to do most is kick the server out of the air and
reboot it. Unfortunatly, it is running several continous batches that
shouldn't be stopped, only in the timeframe 24:00 - 05:00
Something somewhere on this server is getting a little sick..
Anyway, I will continu to test untill I figure out what is wrong. If I do
find out, I will get back with more details.
