I implemented the "find by attribute" using OpenLayers.Protocol.WFS
and cql_filter. Does geoserver supports case insensitive like?

there is an improvment request
Provide an option for a case insensitive
like<http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-2760>

but it seems not yet implemented. Is there a way to bypass this limitation?
 thanks a lot
