Sounds great! I agree with Luca and Andrea that geotools would be the best
place if you can accept the LGPL license.

Do you have any documentation on the plugin or links to download etc. In my
(admittedly limited) underlying of mongo is that it is schemaless. So I am
interested in knowing how you mapped that to the geotools model which is
strictly requires a schema.
