Thanks for the response Andrea.
For the 9 seconds case, is that normal, it takes under a second from a local
execution ? (From a remote machine it takes 9 seconds to serve the file with
the following java code):
------------------
URL google = new URL("
http://pc-talostest:9090/geoserver/wms?SERVICE=WMS&LAYERS=talos%3AwroclawCommCover,talos%3AwroclawAerial&EXCEPTIONS=application/vnd.ogc.se_xml&FORMAT=image/png&HEIGHT=902&TRANSPARENT=TRUE&REQUEST=GetMap&BBOX=17.06858348177348,51.19432361587464,17.075593502666408,51.19773778371771&WIDTH=1852&STYLES=&SRS=EPSG:4326&VERSION=1.1.1
");
ReadableByteChannel rbc =
Channels.newChannel(google.openStream());
FileOutputStream fos = new FileOutputStream("c:/wroclaw.png");
fos.getChannel().transferFrom(rbc, 0, 1 << 24);
