Ok, to get more support is a big pro for tomcat ;-)

Java is the same in our case. I updated all the "Empfohlen"-Packages (is it
"recommended" in an english environment?) via YaST.
Zypper doesn't list any updates.

I'll be giving Tomcat a try.
