Hello Thorsten, as a wild guess: do you have separate geometry columns in the same table?
If so, what I did -and it's working- is not using ogc:filter but filtering by scale rendering. I mean, from 1:100000 to 1:25000 render the point geometry and higher than that render the polygon geometry.
