I looked into the code, cause I was sure there once was support for wms path
in
the GetMap parsing.
And... there was, but it has been wiped out in september 2009 when the
changes
for http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-2652 went it.
Being a feature that few people know about, and even less use nobody noticed
it
was broken (I never needed to
use it, and I've been a GS developer for 5 years already) .
Can you open a bug report about it on jira.codehaus.org?
