I'd like to use the cascade proxy capability of GeoServer 2.1.1 for a simple
in house WMS service. The service defines a test layer with an EPSG:3395
CRS, which I'd like GeoServer to recognize as the native SRS when publishing
a test layer, but I'm not having success. GeoServer is showing Native SRS as
"UNKNOWN."

How does the Native SRS need to be indicated in a WMS 1.3.0 or 1.1.1
GetCapabilities XML?

Example of layer definition for WMS 1.3.0 GetCapabilities:

    <Layer queryable="0" opaque="0">

      <Name>Test</Name>

      <Title>Test</Title>

      <Style>

        <Name>Default</Name>

        <Title>Default Style</Title>

Default style of display

      </Style>

      <EX_GeographicBoundingBox>

        <westBoundLongitude>-20037508.3427</westBoundLongitude>

        <eastBoundLongitude>20037508.3427</eastBoundLongitude>

        <southBoundLatitude>-19971868.8804</southBoundLatitude>

        <northBoundLatitude>19971868.8804</northBoundLatitude>

      </EX_GeographicBoundingBox>

      <CRS>EPSG:3395</CRS>

      <BoundingBox CRS="EPSG:3395" minx="-20037508.3427"
miny="-19971868.8804" maxx="20037508.3427" maxy="19971868.8804" />

    </Layer>

Thanks
