Thanks Phil !

As I browse the original image in system , it can be seen from high scale
greater than 1:173M,
when I using gdal_retile to convert file , in the end I got the error message:

ERROR 1: Unable to compute a transformation between pixel/line
and georeferenced coordinates for TEMP.
There is no affine transformation and no GCPs.
Reprojection failed for yanchengTile3D/1/yancheng3D_01_01.tif, error 3

What is the metre per pixel scale on the original image? Ie would 1:173M move
you to a meter/pixel scale greater than the original image can support?
