Good evening,
I really would like to use JAI on our new servers, but have yet found
the right way to hold my mouth to get it to install. Any suggestions are
welcome.
I am trying the windows install version of GeoServer, since we now have
to use Weblogic 12.1 for our main app - and have yet to get it to work
correctly with that, as opposed to the old OAS server. This is on a
2008R2 64-bit server with JDK 1.6.0.29, with 12 cores. I keep getting a
Not JDK 1.3 message (annoying), and failing with the exe JRE or JDK
installs. The classpath one "installs" but does nothing (which I rather
expected).
What is the current suggestion to use native code? I use GWC tiles
extensively, so I would rather still like to use it if it makes sense.
And - if I get it to work - I promise to write something up for the user
manual.
Thanks in advance,
Bryan
