The additional rotation is proportional to the longitude in some non-cylindrical cases (at least some conical and pole-centered stereographic projections), so it's trivial for _some_ cases... . :) It's quite trivial in some cylindrical projections.

Ha, interesting question indeed. We don't have support to do that right now, someone would have to write a new filter function to compute a "on map" azimuth given the geographic one.
