Hi Emmanuel,

Unfortunately this idea never gained enough steam to get implemented so it
remains just a concept. There have been other features (like virtual
services) that can solve similar problems but in terms of publishing a
resource multiple times its not possible at this and involves creating the
"resource" (in geoserver) multiple times.

Anyways, the proposal is not totally obsolete, I would like to some
day resurrect it but until funding or some other mandate comes up I don't
see this happening.
