Hi, I can see that OGC has considered EPSG:4326 too hard to handle so there not any mention about it in the examples included in the WCS 1.1.0 standard. From version 1.1.2 corrgendum 2 I can find one, but it is rather hard to read because it is giving an rotated grid as an output. I cannot find anything about WCS 1.1.1 which you are using in your requests.
The 1.1.2 example is this EXAMPLE 1 Here is an example GridCRS that references this OperationMethod encoded in XML: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <GridCRS xmlns="http://www.opengis.net/wcs/1.1" xmlns:gml="http://www.opengis.net/gml" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.opengis.net/wcs/1.1 ../wcsGridCRS.xsd" gml:id="example2dGridCrs2"> <gml:srsName>2D Grid CRS Example 3</gml:srsName> <GridBaseCRS>urn:ogc:def:crs:EPSG:6.6:4326</GridBaseCRS> <GridType>urn:ogc:def:method:WCS:1.2:grid2dIn3dMethod</GridType> <GridOrigin>0 0 0</GridOrigin> <GridOffsets>0.0707 0.0707 0 -0.1414 0.1414 0</GridOffsets> <GridCS>urn:ogc:def:cs:OGC:0.0:Grid2dSquareCS</GridCS> </GridCRS> The explanation text is " The six numbers in GridOffsets define a grid that is level to the ground plane but rotated at 45 degrees counterclockwise relative to the easting / northing axes, with a grid spacing of 0.1m (in the SW-NE direction) and 0.2m (NW-SE)." I have been trying to draw the resulting grid on a piece of paper but unfortunately it goes over my understanding. In your example I wonder if the northing component of the GridOffsets should be negative because your GridOrigin is set into the top-left corner. -Jukka Rahkonen- Radim Blazek wrote: > On Wed, Aug 8, 2012 at 10:39 PM, Andrea Aime <andrea.aime@geo- > solutions.it> wrote: > > On Wed, Aug 8, 2012 at 9:47 PM, Radim Blazek <[email protected]> > wrote: > >> > >> Hi, > >> I cannot get correct response from WCS 1.1.1, the result is rotated. > >> The server is here: > >> > >> http://www.sogeo.ch/geoserver/wcs > >> > >> request: > >> > >> > >> > http://www.sogeo.ch:80/geoserver/wcs?SERVICE=WCS&VERSION=1.1.1&RE > QUES > >> > T=GetCoverage&FORMAT=image/tiff&IDENTIFIER=Img_Sample&BOUNDIN > GBOX=21. > >> 5843815789473652,-129.8681617142856908,53.2349184210526332,- > 62.988918 > >> > 2857142913,urn:ogc:def:crs:EPSG::4326&GRIDBASECRS=urn:ogc:def:crs:EPS > >> G::4326&GRIDORIGIN=53.2349184210526332,- > 129.8681617142856908&GRIDCS=u > >> > rn:ogc:def:cs:OGC:0.0:Grid2dSquareCS&GRIDTYPE=urn:ogc:def:method:WCS > : > >> > 1.1:2dSimpleGrid&GRIDOFFSETS=1.7583631578947370,1.9670365714285709 > >> > >> returns rotated raster.
