Andrea,
I was trying to find out a way to modify the ACL from file based to database
based in geoserver. When I was googling around I came across the this link
(http://geo-solutions.blogspot.com/2012/01/developers-corner-introducing-database.html).
The page says that documentation is available on the geoserver website, but I
did not find anything. Can you point me to the right documentation.

As far as the rest api question, I asked earlier, I was able to create some
java code and directly use geoserver's rest api instead of using geoserver
manager.

Thanks
Ashok

Hello,
I am trying to use Geoserver Manager's rest API to create a layer. I have
been noticing that there is hardly any documentation available describing all
the parameters in different calls. Can somebody point me to documentation if
available.

Also, just taking a brief look at the API, it appeared that there is no way to
create a parameterized layer using the rest-api. Can somebody confirm that.

You should probably ask on the geoserver manager mailing list here:

Cheers
