Andrea,
I found one application using our server that was not having this problem,
and it appears to be making its requests using WFS 1.0.0, which if I'm
reading correctly, defaults to using GML 2. The applications that ARE
having problems were specifying WFS 1.1.0, which I think defaults to GML 3.
Is this a workaround? The email thread you linked to specifically
mentioned GML 3 as being involved in the problem.
