Thanks for this. I've identified the issue (lack of schema name in the
query) and reported it to JIRA:
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-5535
Along with a suggestion for how to better determine if SDO_TUNE.EXTENT_OF
is actually installed.
