Hello Christian,
I installed GeoServer 2.4.1 in the recommended 'Program files' folder (not
in 32-bit windows 'Program Files(x86))' directory) as you adviced.
And I chose 'Install as a service' with Java 4u45 x64. GeoServer 2.4 works
fine.
(I'm used to 'Run manually' because of the warning 'Requires a 32bit JRE.')
