I'll look into that.
I set a reference system for the data in Informix to WGS 84, but for some
reason GetCapabilities returns UNKNOWN.

It seems to me Informix is generating GML with spatial reference systems in the
form UNKNOWN:xywz instead of the more common EPSG:xywz
Can you configure it to use standard EPSG codes?
