Dear Simone,
I am using as OS: MW-Windows 7 (64bit).
When I retried to follow the tutorial it seems working.
And after redeploying a fresh geoserver I was able to see the mentioned points
using the g_point style (that uses gs:RasterAsPointCollection process) as
mentioned in the tutorial.
Under the tutorial, I also noticed that "<maxScaleDenominator>" is not
capitalized which creates a validation warning in GeoServer Styles manager.
But this seems not to impact the rendering, because the points are shown in
both cases (capitalized/non-capitalized):

Ciao,
form the logs it looks like you have not installed the WPS extension
correctly hence the style is not able to find the transformation.
>From the WPS demo link at the bottom, are you able to see the
gs:RasterAsPointCollection process?
That said, Which OS are running this stack on?
