Normally this happens if you have the oracle driver both in GeoServer
web-inf/lib, and in the web container
shared libs (e.g., tomcat/lib).
Make sure you have it in a single place

You are totally on your own I'm afraid, JDK 8 is not supported, we just
moved to support JDK 7 on the
GeoServer dev series (will become 2.7.x in September). May work, may not.
