Hi,

We tried to do the same but finally we just desided to cast Oracle dates to
strings for WFS-T and convert strings back to Oracle dates with triggers when
doing inserts/updates. We have been happy with the workaround for several years
now but we do not need to handle several timezones which makes our case rather
simple.

I try to manage myself the schema with this tuto and it doesn't work.

Is there a way to insert and get datetime property with a correct timezone from
geoserver?

I think it's a big issue for Geoserver with Oracle, if we can't handle a
datetime attribute!
